“I found it intriguing to delve into her journey before reuniting with the Avengers, before her heroic sacrifice,” Johansson shares with EW. “How does she evolve into the strong individual we see, piecing together her broken past?”

In the movie, we see Natasha reuniting with the only family she has ever known: a quirky group of Russian spies who posed as a family when Natasha was young – including Melina played by Rachel Weisz and Yelena played by Florence Pugh.
